Feeding recommendations

At the beginning of the rearing period, feeders are provided at a rate of 1 feeder per 50-60 ducklings, and from the second week the number of feeders should allow 3 cm of feeding space per bird. Feed and water intake should be checked after 4 and 24 hours.

Depending on the planned productivity, the feeding period is divided into two (0–14, 15–56+) or three (0–10, 11–21, 22–45+) periods. Feed manufacturers should take into account the poultry's need for metabolic energy, amino acids (lysine, methionine, cystine, tryptophan, threonine), calcium, phosphorus, sodium, potassium, chlorine and vitamins A, D, E, so that with the recommended use, ducks reach the target live weight. To achieve optimal results, follow feeding recommendations provided by genetic suppliers.
